Finding Real Love Growing up I was the oldest of 4, raised in Central Maine in a low income, typical dysfunctional
family. My parents were 15 and 19 at my birth and wanted a boy as their first child, consequently they only had boy’s
names ready when I came into the world. Most of my childhood I heard that I was supposed to be a boy that my parents had no
girls names picked out when I was born. I tried desperately to be the little boy I thought my parents wanted me to be by being
a homosexual. Then God delivered me... read my story
Lorraine’s Testimony - I suppose I was a typical teenager I loved going to discos, and enjoyed drinking,
and at this time I definitely had no time for God. But I praise Him for not giving up on me.
Saved From Suicide - I took about 50 non-aspirin tablets and then told everyone (or the family) the good news....I
was dying. My family completely flipped out. I found out that they really did care a lot for me. I overheard the doctor telling
my folks at the hospital, that I really should be dead by now.

From Drugs and Homelessness to Christ We were now homeless. We started living on the river in Salem. One
night when we were hitchhiking, this lady stopped and picked us up. When we got into the car she said, "Boy, the Lord must
really love you. He told me to stop and pick you up and I don’t ever pick up hitchhikers." She told us where her church
was and invited us to come. This happened within a week after we arrived in Salem. (continued)

My Thoughts On It All Since I was a young girl I have had dreams and visions many of which
have come true and it used to frightened me. I began to think I was weird or something. As a young girl I cannot say that
I was particularly walking with God because although I went to church and church functions but I had no true understanding

Healed by the Power of God -My name is Duane Hennen. I am 31 years old, married to the most wonderful woman
in the world, and have three awesome kids. I saw that you wanted testimonies, so I thought I would pass mine along to you.
Three
and a half years ago, I lost my sight. After lifting too much weight (I was a carpet installer) I blew out the blood vessels
in the backs of my eyes. Two months after that my digestive system shut down and I was unable to eat for about 5 months. On
January 2, 2000, my doctor told me I would not live for more than a few days. I did not believe that was what God had for
me. I prayed like I had never prayed before in my life. The next morning, I awoke with a strange feeling. My stomach was growling.
This may seem ordinary for most people, but mine had not done so for 5 months. My appetite was back, and my stomach was once
again working. In one day, I regained 11 pounds of the 60 I had lost. All the specialists and medicines that were tried failed,
But glory to God, He is still in the business of healing people!
