The Story of Save My Loved Ones

One morning in September of 2008, I was awakened by an Angel of the Lord announcing ― revival in the land, revival in the land. Picture with me if you will Paul Revere running through the streets shouting ― the British are coming, the British are coming. Well that is how it sounded. I sought Father on this of course, then a couple of days later I received a Word and what I believe was instruction from God to bring together people to pray for the salvation of the lost, and revival of the saints. God ended the conversation calling me Cyrus, which surprised me because in times past I have been given Isaiah Chapter 45 to stand on and I have always received a miracle or breakthrough when I did however, I never really thought about who Cyrus was until God called me Cyrus that morning.

I did know from studying the Bible that if God changed a person’s name He was establishing their identity, mission, and purpose in life and it assure them that God’s plan would be fulfilled in them. Such was the case when God changed Abram’s "high father" name to Abraham "father of multitude" (Genesis 17:5) and his wife’s name from Sarai “my princess,” to Sarah “mother of nations” (Genesis 17:15). We know from history that the descendants of Abraham and Sarah formed many nations, including the Jews and Muslims. God changed Jacob’s "supplanter" name to Israel “having power with God” (Genesis 32:28). He changed Simon’s "God has heard" name to Peter "rock" (John 1:42).

Knowing this I did some research to see who Cyrus was and what the name means. I found that Cyrus was the King of Persia", a conqueror of Babylon, and he issued the decree of liberation to the Jews (Ezra 1:1-2). Cyrus was also known as God's "shepherd" and "His anointed" (Isaiah 44:28-45:13). Isaiah wrote that God would "dry up" the rivers for Cyrus so that he could subdue nations (Isaiah 44:27). God opened before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut" (Isaiah 45:1).

God used Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon to punish Israel for being rebellious. God told Jeremiah that they would be in bondage for 70 years. When the seventy years were almost up, God anointed Cyrus, the king of Persia and commissioned him to free His people so they could return to Jerusalem to fulfill the prophecy stated that Christ, a Jew would be born in Bethlehem so the Jews had to return to Jerusalem.

God had a definite plan for Cyrus and I was beginning to see He has a definite plan for me also. Father gave me revelation of who I am, increased, my faith and revealed His purpose concerning me, what the next phase of my life would entail and assured me that He has truly anointed me to issue a decree of liberation to the lost and those who are bound. He assured me that He has "dried up" the rivers, destroyed all barriers and the double doors have been opened before me and His will shall come to past.

God named the ministry Save My Loved Ones Prayer Ministries International; I would say because that is what He intends to do “Save Loved Ones” through this ministry.

God continued to impress upon me that morning that:

We are in a season where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being preached again as in the days of Acts and religious and pharisaic mumbo jumbo is being torn down resulting in the people of God experiencing breakthrough like never before in every area!
The lost will come to Christ in record numbers.
Whatever was dead in the lives of believers and their loved ones will be revived, restored and healed.

According to your faith be it into you.

No other "god" can do this! Only the Most High God, the Almighty Sovereign God can take sinful man some of whom have never even desired a relationship with Him and cause them to come to repentance, to do His will and bring about His purpose.

Let me ask you what reaction has this message produced in you. I believed that morning that God was speaking the same message to others, mainly because the Angel of the Lord was running announcing revival in the land, revival in the land. I believe that the Lord has placed the call of Cyrus on the hearts of many men and women across the earth. So later on I googled Cyrus + ministry and it was no surprise that there are others whom God has called for this purpose and also changed their name to Cyrus. I tell God our God is amazing! at what God has been doing.

Dale M. Sides of Liberating Ministries for Christ International had this to say:

The Cyrus-anointed men and women who are used of God in this way are also called ministers of liberality (Romans 12:6–8; 2 Corinthians 9:10–15), and they are a destiny within themselves. Some of you reading this article have that destiny. For you Cyrus-anointed ones out there, check out what the Lord said about this mighty man and see if it speaks to your heart:

· You are my shepherd.

· You shall perform all My pleasure.

· You will say to Jerusalem, “You shall be built.”

· You will say to the temple, “Your foundation shall be laid.”

· I will hold your right hand.

· Nations will be subdued before you.

· You will loose the armor of kings.

· I will open before you the double doors.

· The gates will not be shut before you.

· I will go before you and make the crooked places straight.

· I will break in pieces the gates of bronze.

· I will cut the bars of iron.

· I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places.

· You will know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.

Not only was this prophesied by Isaiah almost 200 years in advance, but then about 100 years later, it was confirmed by Jeremiah (Jeremiah 25:11–12; 2 Chronicles 36:22–23; Ezra 1:1–2). If you were Cyrus, would you begin to understand that God was trying to send you a message? Likewise, if you are a latter-day Cyrus-anointed minister of liberality, the message for you is the same: God has foreordained you to be a supplier to build His kingdom. Even now as you read about Cyrus, the Holy Spirit may be bearing witness within your spirit, stirring up this ministry and calling within your heart.

My prayer to the Lord is that the men and women who presently have this ministry can be released to fulfill their destiny, just as Cyrus was. These are the ones whose hearts pulsate to finance the purposes of God’s kingdom. This ministry needs to be liberated just as much as the others. The Lord has called us forth as kings and priests (Revelation 1:6), and many believe this ministry is the calling of a king.

When a Cyrus-anointed minister of liberality receives this word and calling, he or she will need serious prayer protection. I pray that the intercessors (priests) in the body of Christ will rise up and recognize the need there is right now for them to stand in the gap for these ministers of liberality. They need to pray for these “kings” to have the divine favor and wisdom necessary to obtain the wealth of the wicked for the kingdom of God. There are strategies and witty inventions that the Holy Spirit can download into the spirits of these men and women that can help them bring this about. Cyrus-anointed ministers are not only a gift to the church, but a much-needed weapon in these last days. They also need prayer to protect their souls from the temptations of pride, greed, and self-centeredness.

There are two main snares that the devil uses to bait ministers of liberality—power and money. The Bible tells us that money, in and of itself, is not the problem—it is the love of it that is the root of all evil. Those who fall into this trap do so because they begin to crave the things money can do for them or buy for them more than they crave the Lord. As long as they continue to love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, they will be protected from this snare. One of the main things that they will continually need to remember is that God is the One Who has prospered them.

Like Cyrus, there is a destiny on men and women who are used of God to build His kingdom. Cyrus set a great example of the foreordination and fulfilling of that calling. He also provided an illustration of the grace and humility that is required to give so freely from our resources. When the Spirit of the Lord stirred up Cyrus, he decreed that the Lord God of heaven had given him all the kingdoms of the earth and that God had commanded him to build a house for Him at Jerusalem (Ezra 1:2–4). Cyrus knew it was because of God’s generosity and power that he had his wealth, and he understood the corresponding call of the Lord upon his life. What a revelation!

Father Yahweh, bless the Cyruses in this world who have the ability and the grace to be used of You. Protect them from pride and the deception of Satan, and stir up their spirits as you stirred up Cyrus’. Lord, show them Your favor and give them strategies to advance Your kingdom. Release them to fulfill Your calling and destiny. Anoint their eyes so that they can see Your hand on their lives and Your desire to use them. Father, release the Cyrus anointing upon Your people who have the heart to finance and build Your kingdom. Amen.
